About the Event
Meet acclaimed children's book author Shanna Upchurch for a delightful look into the world of children's literature. Shanna will share her creative process behind The Honeybee Highway, which will be released in spring 2026 by Disney. Hear the inspiration behind her books and the importance of encouraging imagination and a love of reading in young people. This heartwarming presentation will appeal to readers, writers, parents, grandparents, and anyone who appreciates the power of a great story. Her newest book, A Garden Lost, published by Simon & Schuster, will be released in Spring 2027, and Friends of the Library will be among the first to purchase it.
